Elder Michael Eugene White, Evangelist

National Evangelist, Elder Michael Eugene White was born on August 10, 1957, to the late Robert and Phyllis White in East Saint Louis, Illinois.  He departed this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Michael Eugene White attended East Saint Louis Senior High School in East Saint Louis, Illinois. In 1976 he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.  Michael, began his evangelistic ministry while attending the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park located in Chicago, Illinois under the pastorate of the late Dr. Robert Baggett.  Evangelist Michael White carried a burden for soul-winning throughout his ministry whereby many across the country were saved through his ministry. Evangelist Michael White’s powerful delivery of the Word was often followed by deliverance, miracles and healings.  In 1984, Elder Michael White, the Evangelist, began his East Coast Crusade.  He was soon known as “Jawbone” following a series of months of preaching “The Jawbone Revival.”  Elder Philip Watkins became his Armor Bearer and booking agent on the East Coast. In June 2000, Elder White began assisting Pastor Philip Watkins as he started a new church in Alexandria, VA.  Elder White traveled extensively across the country aiding many ministries and pastoring several churches. The first message preached in the new edifice of GMSAC was by Elder White in April 2011.  Elder White was directed by the Lord to join the Greater Morning Star Apostolic Church as a member in May of 2013.

Elder White made a very humorous statement to Pastor Watkins one day "God has a sense of humor! How did I train you in ministry and you become my Pastor?"

He worked diligently in the Lord assisting Pastor Philip S. Watkins in evangelism, preaching, teaching, and as Pastor Watkins’ Pastoral Assistant.  Ordained as an Elder under the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International at the AFFI Regional Council in November 2014, he continued to faithfully serve the Lord having preached the gospel for over 37-years nationwide.

Project values and principles
99% of shelters take parents BUT will not accept the veterans’ children which creates a more exasperating issue predominantly resulting in dysfunctional family structures

Most states including Alabama and Texas will incarcerate the homeless women veteran and take their children

Mothers give up precious time and special irreplaceable moments with their children to join the military

Lack of support and preparation for transition out of the military, impacts mental and physical readiness, coping skills, and reintegrating back into civilian society, which causes women’s veterans and their children to be four times more likely to become homelessness than their civilian counterpart

Some children are not only separated from their parents but also subjected into foster care

Birmingham, AL VA homeless official stated that VA has no program in place that supports the children of veterans

Many homeless women and children, move between couches, cars, floors, motels, and other unstable and unsafe situations; although these women veterans have put their lives on the line for this country. Women veterans are trained to kill but not trained to live.

It’s quite common for children to feel at fault causing mental anguish

According to the NIH (National Institute of Health) SAD (Separation Anxiety Disorder) is the most common type of anxiety disorder in children

HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) and VASH (Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing) HUD-VASH enrolls the largest number and largest percentage of Veterans who have experienced long-term or repeated homelessness; however, there’s no legislation protection our homeless women veterans’ children.
